Skin dry. Eyes tired. Christmas incoming.

Hi Reader,

Apparently it’s October, although the weather hasn’t received the memo.

We’ve had 23-degree days, I’m still not ready for a coat, and yet somehow my skin is changing, the mornings are darker and Christmas catalogues have started appearing. Make it make sense

So this month I’m focusing on a few small things that feel particularly useful right now.

Eyes looking more tired than you feel? 👀

The Yarrow|Pom Eye Patches are finally available here for a limited time and I am disproportionately excited about this.

I went through a phase of trying basically every under-eye patch I could find until someone brought these back for me from the US. That was the end of the search. I even bought a pack from Orlando 2 weeks ago.

They’re cooling, hydrating and brilliant when your eyes look puffy or tired, with Yarrow, pomegranate seed oil, Rose extract, peptides and caffeine. They’re made from biodegradable biocellulose too, which hugs the skin really closely and holds a lot of serum.

The only annoying bit: maximum two per order. 😭

Skin suddenly looking a bit… meh?

Moringa Rose is one of the limited products I’m most interested in this month. It combines nourishing Moringa oil with Bulgarian Rose essential oil and is lovely when skin needs a bit more hydration and glow.

Rose has a very short harvest window and it takes an extraordinary amount of petals to produce the oil, so this isn’t one of those products that just sits permanently on the shelf.

A little skincare luxury, basically. I've already switched to it for my morning lymphatic drainage routine.

The thing that has lived in my handbag since September

On Guard + Echinacea Stick arrived just before all my travelling and has become a firm bag staple, alongside my On Guard Purifying Mist.

I like it because there’s absolutely no faffing involved. No bottle to dilute, no marks on my clothes from a roller. It’s a solid stick, so I can just swipe it on and carry on with my day.

The clever bit is that it combines the On Guard Protective Blend with Echinacea, so it feels particularly useful as we head into the colder, germier part of the year.

A genuinely useful freebie (you know I love one).

October’s free Oil of the Month is Clove.

It’s warm and spicy, but also much more useful than just making the house smell autumnal: think seasonal recipes and drinks, oral care (including tooth ache!), warming massage blends and diffuser combinations.

If you already have a dōTERRA account and your order reaches 125PV by 15 October, Clove is added free. If you're not a client, I can get you sorted ;)

If you have absolutely no idea what 125PV means, that is also fine. 😂 Just message me. message me and I’ll translate dōTERRA-speak into normal English!

And yes… Christmas has started 🎄

I know. It’s October. And have I mentioned the 23-degree days??

But the Christmas collection is now out, including seasonal oils, gifts and limited products, and some of the nicest things tend not to hang around forever. I've had a chance to smell all seasonal blends in Orlando, so I know exactly what I'm getting for me and Christmas Stockings!

That’s my (long'ish) October shortlist. And if you want help choosing what makes sense for you, just reply to this email - whether you want one product or (like me) a few :)
